Avondvullende diners met rondleiding door Lianne

Tijdens DDW’25 serveert Vaderland vijf diners in het restaurant in Nederwetten, op slechts 8 km van Eindhoven. Hier proef je hoe gastronomie en design samensmelten in een avond vol inspiratie. Met smaakvolle gerechten bereid door chef-kok Joep die tot bloei komen op je bord en daarbuiten.

Voorafgaand aan het diner neemt Lianne je mee in een korte rondleiding door onze tuinderij en vertelt over het landschap, ons systeem en de toekomst die we hier vormgeven. Ook ontdek je de Circle Farm van Floris Schoonderbeek; een proefopstelling op ons erf, die laat zien hoe circulair telen er in de praktijk uitziet.
Aan tafel omring je je met werk van ontwerpers: het wandkleed Southern Fertility van Claudy Jongstra, de biodynamische kussens uit de LOADS Collection, het interieur mede ontworpen door Thomas Baas en Anne Kleinbloesem, en servies van Atelier NL – gemaakt van lokale klei. ​​

*Wil je op een ander moment komen (buiten de diners om) voor een rondleiding met een groep? Neem even contact met ons op voor de mogelijkheden.
Kom je met de auto? We hebben ook een heerlijk alcohol vrij arrangement.
Ook met ov-fiets of taxibusje is Vaderland gemakkelijk bereikbaar.
Vegetable box
Year-round produce from the land. Are you in?
We make a new vegetable box every week, with at least 6, usually 8 to 10 different kinds of vegetables and herbs, enough for 6 dishes. The box includes recipes for preparing the vegetables, inspiring you to cook healthy and surprising meals.

Price: from €22,50 per week you can enjoy fresh vegetables from our land for two people with inspiring recipes.

Volunteers
They (usually) come with a smile and find their way in the fields. Some prefer weeding, others enjoy sowing or harvesting. We mainly work outdoors in the fields, but there are also indoor tasks.
​
Some people come every week and find their place in our company. Others come occasionally for a breath of fresh air or to enjoy an outdoor workout. Some people prefer working in silence, while others seek social interaction. We are grateful for our volunteers.
​
Our volunteer days are every Thursday and Saturday. We start at 9am with coffee, enjoy a delicious lunch at 1pm, and usually finish around 3pm. Helping on other days or finishing earlier is also possible by arrangement.

Samenwerken met de Dommel
Onze natuur-inclusieve boerderij ligt in Nederwetten aan de Dommel. Afgelopen herfst is er door Rivers are Life een prachtig portret gemaakt van de Dommel. Daarin speelt Vaderland een grote rol, naast Waterschap de Dommel en Van Gogh Nationaal Park.
Deze docu laat zien hoe belangrijk onze verbinding met water en de Dommel is. En dat verandering en samenwerken noodzakelijk is om alle economische ambities én onze ambities voor het herstel van natuur en biodiversiteit waar te maken.

Location and nature development
You can find our farm in Nederwetten along the Dommel river. The farm has been in the family for five generations. But Vaderland is much more than just a farm. It is a vibrant place where nature is welcomed home and so are people. This beautiful place deserves to be seen and experienced.
We believe that true enjoyment goes deeper than superficial pleasure. Vaderland is all about making conscious choices, forging real connections, living in harmony with nature, and accepting that things don’t always have to be perfect.

Last autumn, a beautiful documentary was made about the Dommel river. Our very own Lianne was asked to take part in the film, and talk about our relationship with the river. Watch the beautiful portrait from May 7th here.
