Many of our wines are natural wines or 'vin naturel'. They ask you to decant it before drinking it, or at least to give it some air. This can be done by pouring the wine into a glass beforehand, so that oxygen enters the bottle. And preferably drink it on the same evening, because the wine may taste different the next day. Why? Because the wine is still alive and no or minimal sulphite has been added.

Natural wine is made through natural processes, with as little intervention as possible. This implies; no use of pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers when growing the grapes. Also when working in the cave, almost no additives are used. Fermentation takes place with the wild yeasts from the vineyard and the cave and no or at most a minimal sulfite addition is made when filling in the bottle.

Also, the wines are not clarified and filtered so they are slightly cloudy and can have a little residue in the bottle. That also has an advantage; the wines have more taste. The wine can only be made this way by using the healthiest and most concentrated grapes. You achieve this by preserving the natural balance of the vineyard as much as possible, by manual picking and working with low yields.

A natural wine, if made well, is very lively and full of flavour. They are wines in their purest form, wines that taste good and are easy to digest.

Keep them cool and at a constant temperature, preferably below 14 degrees.
